  1. I am jealous of those beautiful eggs. We are planning a chicken run but the actual construction of said run is not moving quickly leaving me to look jealously at everyone elses beautiful eggs.

  3. I think that look like a nice healthy harvest Andrea, it's always so rewarding to pick and eat any little bit from your garden. Not much harvesting going on here, a few herbs and some lettuce but I've been doing a little bit of planting so I hope they'll grow so we have something to pick soon. I have given an award to you on my blog if you wanted to stop by and have a little look. :)

    1. Hi Daphne, yes we love our omelets and Sunday nights easy dinner of scrambled eggs. Once a week our dogs get an egg and they love them too.

  5. 6C at night?! I realize that while my season is just beginning, yours is winding down. Envious of your eggs...how I wish we could raise chickens at our place!

    1. Hi Rowena, we are lucky to have quite mild winters and can still grow a large range of crops. Looking forward to the colder weather, open fires, hot soup, and an excuse to curl up on the couch and read.

  6. Mmmmm those eggs!. I think I picked three beans this week too. I'm all set to pull out my remaining tomato plants this week and make a green tomato pickle, after that there's going to be a bit of a lull in the harvest, with only eggplants ready to pick.
